Bio
Alysen currently serves as Psomas' Director for Engineering Site Development and oversees business strategy, project delivery, and operations for site development projects throughout California and Utah. Alysen joined Psomas in 2004 and previously served as Team Leader and Regional Manager in the Los Angeles office. She was was selected as a firm Principal in 2017 and recently named to the Psomas Board of Directors.
Alysen is a licensed professional engineer and received her civil engineering degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She has spent much of her career at Psomas providing civil engineering consulting services to various community colleges and universities throughout Southern California. She is passionate about fostering gender diversity within engineering and serving as a mentor for emerging female engineers.
Why have you chosen to be on the Mt. SAC Foundation board?
I have been continually impressed by the Mt SAC's leadership and their dedication to enhancing the student experience. As a foundation board member, I am excited about the prospect of aligning myself with the mission and goals of the foundation, allowing me to make a meaningful contribution to the College's initiatives and help shape a positive future for its students.
