Bio

I have worked in government relations for the last 25 years after starting my career as a student affairs professional in the Midwest. Presently, I am a Partner at Spiker Consulting Group. Additionally, I am part of the lobbying team of Capitol Advocacy, one of Sacramento's premiere lobbying firms. In 2010, I founded the San Gabriel Valley Civic Alliance and serve as Executive Director.

My experience includes the following commissions and boards: California Employment Training Panel, California Board of Optometry, Los Angeles City Workforce Investment Board, San Bernardino County Workforce Investment Board, Vernon Business Advisory Committee, AIPAC National Council, UCLA Labor Center Advisor and member of Los Angeles Trade Tech Labor Center faculty.

I am a graduate of Loyola Marymount University and earned a Master of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University in Guidance & Counseling.

Why Mt. SAC?

Mt. SAC is a vibrant and invaluable institution anchoring eastern Los Angeles County and provides a gateway to the Inland Empire and Orange County. I enjoy being part of the Foundation's effort to promote the college.
